Ferndale Rotary Club

Logo - Ferndale Rotary ClubThe Ferndale Rotary Club is a member of Rotary International and your opportunity to give back to your local community as well as the global community.

Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders untied worldwide, who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

The Ferndale Rotary Club has been meeting the needs of the Ferndale Community for over 75 years.  We give scholastic achievement awards annually to Ferndale youth attending college.  Our main fundraiser for these awards is our parking lot during the State Fair, which is located on 8 Mile Road north of the entrance to the fairgrounds.  When you go to the fair, please park where you see the Rotary emblem, shown above, and 100% of your $5 parking fee goes to Ferndale youth!

We have many other local and international events.  Please stop by and visit us, we meet weekly on Thursdays at 5:30pm at Blumz by J.R., 503 E. Nine Mile Road, Ferndale.

Visit our website.

Please consider joining us and becoming a Rotarian.  For further information, contact Bert Spaeth at (586) 286-8319.

Information for Prospective Members

Rotarians are business and professional leaders who take an active role in their communities while greatly enriching their personal and professional lives. A Rotary club contains a diverse group of professional leaders from the community that the club serves.

Membership in a Rotary club offers a number of benefits, including:

  • effecting change within the community;
  • advancing business and professional contacts;
  • developing leadership skills;
  • gaining an understanding of - and having an impact on - international humanitarian issues.

Through Rotary International's service programs, a Rotary club can have a significant effect on the quality of life in its community. Rotary Foundation programs offer opportunities to form international partnerships that help people in need worldwide. Some 1.2 million Rotarians in 30,000 clubs in more than 160 countries make significant contributions to the quality of life at home and around the globe.
