  5. PUBLIC HEARING Special Assessment Sidewalk District No. 2006

    1. Consideration to receive and confirm Special Assessment Sidewalk District No. 2006, and that the special assessments be spread on the 2006 Winter Tax Roll, unless deferment is later allowed

    2. Consideration of deferment of Special Assessments and procedure for installments, as recommended by the Sidewalk Hardship Committee

    3. Consideration to add Sidewalk and Delinquent Accounts Receivable as Special Assessments to the Winter 2006 Tax Roll

  6. Call to Audience (Strict half-hour; excess of half-hour immediately prior to Call to Council)

  7. Consent Agenda
    All items listed under Consent Agenda are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council Member or citizen so requests, in which event the items will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered at the end of the Regular Agenda.

    1. Approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting held October 9, 2006, and the Special Meeting held October 16, 2006, as submitted by City Clerk.

    2. Approval of Contract with C & P Construction Co., Inc., to replace water main on Allen between Eight Mile Road and Albany and authorization for the Mayor and City Clerk to sign Contract, as submitted by DPW Director.

    3. Approval of Contract with Pipe Systems, Inc., to renovate the water booster station and authorization for the Mayor and City Clerk to sign Contract, as submitted by DPW Director.

    4. Approval of the Special Event Application from Faith Based American Cancer Providers for 1st Annual Halloween Cancer Aid Walk on Saturday, October 28, 2006, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., beginning and ending at Geary Park and related requests for the event, as submitted by City Clerk.
      (Public copies of the Consent Agenda may be viewed at the Library)

    5. Approval of the bills, payrolls (as certified by Interim City Manager), to be paid subject to review by the Council Finance Committee.

    1. Reappointment to the Ferndale Housing Commission

    2. Consideration of removal of parking restriction on Jewell

    3. Consideration of IFEC (Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption Certificate) Agreement with Garden Fresh Salsa located at 1501-1503 Bonner and 1505 Bonner
