Water Bill Direct Payment

The City of Ferndale is now offering, free of charge, the option to have your water bill automatically deducted from your checking or savings account. You will still receive your quarterly statement approximately 20 days in advance indicating the amount that will be deducted on the due date. Your automatic payment will be reflected on your next bill and itemized on your checking or savings account statement.

If you change your checking or savings account, a new enrollment form will be required. Please allow 30-60 days for processing. If you decide to cancel your participation in the plan, simply call or write.

To get started, click here to go to the Forms and Permits section of our website, complete the enrollment form and return it to the City of Ferndale Water Billing Department, 300 E. Nine Mile., Ferndale, MI 48220.

It may take up to 60 days before electronic payments are withdrawn from your account. Please continue to pay your bill in the normal manner until your billing indicates that Direct Payment is in place.
