Zoning Ordinance - Article 10

The existing zoning regulations of the City of Ferndale being the City of Ferndale Zoning Ordinance Number 525, adopted by the Ferndale City Council on the 26th of February, 1968, and all amendments thereto, are repealed. The adoption of this Ordinance, however, shall not affect or prevent any pending prosecution of, or action to abate, any existing violation of the aforementioned Ordinance, as amended.

The various parts, sections, and clauses of this Ordinance are declared to be severable. If any part, sentence, paragraph, section or clause is adjudged unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of the Ordinance shall not be affected.

This Ordinance, which specifically includes the attached Zoning Map, is adopted on this 13th day of February, 2006 and this Ordinance shall become effective on February 24, 2006, the day following publication of a Notice of Adoption in a newspaper of general circulation in Ferndale on February 23, 2006, pursuant to the provisions of Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of 1921, as amended.

Council:

Ordinance Numbers 1017 and 1018 were adopted at a meeting of the Ferndale City Council held November 13, 2006, effective December 11 and December 8, 2006, respectively.

Ordinance Number 1021 was adopted at a meeting of the Ferndale City Council held on February 12, 2007, effective February 16, 2007.

Ordinance Number 1025 was adopted at a meeting of the Ferndale City Council held on April 23, 2007, effective May 1, 2007.

Ordinance Number 1030 was adopted at a meeting of the Ferndale City Council held on July 9, 2007, effective July 12, 2007.

Ordinance Number 1039 was adopted at a meeting of the Ferndale City Council held on January 14, 2008, effective January 29, 2008.

Ordinance Number 1052 was adopted at a meeting of the Ferndale City Council held on July 28, 2008, effective August 5, 2008.

Ordinance Number 1053 was adopted at a meeting of the Ferndale City Council held on July 28, 2008, effective August 5, 2008.
