Overview

The City of Ferndale offers a wide range of municipal services to
Ferndale residents and business owners. Highlights of its
operations include:

a Police department comprised of highly trained, dedicated
specialists who are committed to excellence in law enforcement,

a paid, professionally staffed Fire department operated out of
two strategically located fire stations,

a Public Works department overseeing sanitation
collection and disposal; streets, parks, grounds, and equipment
maintenance; water distribution and sewage disposal, and fleet
management,

a Public Library, located in the heart of the City, with a
collection exceeding 98,000 items including books, magazines,
videos, audio books, and music CDs ranging from contemporary to
classic.

a Recreation and Senior Services department offering a wide
range of activities and special events for all ages and
abilities.

A Cable TV Station that televises City Council
meetings and other community related programs of interest to our
