Memorial Day Parade

The Ferndale Memorial Association organizes Ferndale’s Annual Memorial Day
Parade.
The parade is a serious event. The organizers take pains to
remind participants and crowd that this is an opportunity to memorialize
those who served, not a time for celebration or jokes.
Pictured are the Ferndale Police Honor Guard, who lead the parade
and always shoot the salute at the program.
For Memorial Day, the Parade will start at 10:00am. For the Parade Route,
The Parade participants enter the parade along Livernois from
Maplehurst, Lewiston, Cambourne, and Breckenridge Streets. The
Parade officially starts on Livernois at West Breckenridge, and
heads north. The parade will march east on Maplehurst, south on
Woodward, west on 9 Mile, and south at Livernois, ending at the
Memorial Mall in front of Ferndale Fire Station #1.
